Photo privacy checker
The privacy risk score highlights detected location, identity, device, software and date information. Related image fields contribute once per category. It is an inspection guide, not a scientific security rating. A zero score cannot rule out visible private information or unsupported metadata.
Supported formats and processing budgets depend on the tool. View limits · Understand the limitations.
Your browser does the work.
Your files stay with you.
No upload. No account. No AI service reading your document. Just a local check before you share.
Privacy details
Files and results stay in browser memory. We serve the app and its scripts; your hosting provider still receives ordinary site requests. Optional Google Analytics measures site visits after you allow it; our analytics events exclude file details and results. No remote maps are installed.

- 03Metadata and structure are inspected locally

Before you check.
Why might a camera model affect the score?
It can reveal your device. Its contribution is smaller than location information, and the exact scoring factors are shown in the report.
Does a clean copy mean my file is safe?
No. We remove only supported metadata and list what remains. Visible content and other unsupported information may still reveal private details.
Which files can I check?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, static WebP and supported HEIC photos; PDFs; DOCX, XLSX and PPTX Office files; and supported MP4/MOV videos. The screenshot editor accepts JPG, PNG and static WebP. Batches allow up to 10 files and 100 MB total. See Supported formats for each tool’s limits.
