Clean Word document metadata
The clean-copy report lists only properties found before cleaning and confirmed absent afterward. It also lists detected privacy factors that remain. Documents with detected VBA package parts or digital signatures cannot be cleaned, because metadata edits could leave unsafe content or invalidate signatures.

Before you check.
How is the output verified?
The generated ZIP is reopened, required parts and internal relationship targets are checked, and the metadata analyzer runs again. This is structural validation, not a guarantee of rendering fidelity in every Word version.
Does a clean copy mean my file is safe?
No. We remove only supported metadata and list what remains. Visible content and other unsupported information may still reveal private details.
Which files can I check?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, static WebP and supported HEIC photos; PDFs; DOCX, XLSX and PPTX Office files; and supported MP4/MOV videos. The screenshot editor accepts JPG, PNG and static WebP. Batches allow up to 10 files and 100 MB total. See Supported formats for each tool’s limits.
